Haiku

Haiku was designed as a quiet retreat within the city limits—an adaptable setting for gatherings ranging from weddings to cocktail parties, birthdays, and other celebrations. Guests enter through a circular gate where the city falls away, revealing a whimsical Zen garden, intimate chapel, and flexible indoor–outdoor spaces that flow naturally together. Located minutes from downtown Asheville in Biltmore Village, the venue accommodates up to 150 guests. As with many Red House projects, careful attention was given to proportion, material, and framing—ensuring each space provides a composed backdrop that photographs beautifully during events.
